For a more indoors activity, the White Salmon Library is hosting a tribute to the "Debris under the sea" exhibit. This recycling event is demonstrating the creative uses for plastics found under the sea. All exhibits are to be 100% plastic and can be artistic or practical or both. Such as one artist portrays in his plastic pieces made into usable chairs. Most participants are asked to make some forms of masks or wearable art for this exhibit.
Not only will there be an event for making things out of the plastic but exhibits from local artist Taylor Cass Stevenson who is a renowed enviromentalist and artist. The event is Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the White Salmon WA Library; Pre-registration is required, call the library 493-1132 for more information.
